Ja’Marr Chase is unguardable against man coverage

Joe Burrow has a perfect passer rating when his old LSU teammate is asked to beat the defender assigned to him.

Ja’Marr Chase should start preparing himself for being double—and maybe triple—teamed from here on out. That’s just how good he’s been.

The rookie wide receiver simply cannot be covered by any one man. Joe Burrow has a perfect QB rating of 158.3 when targeting Chase in man coverage.

And the wide receiver is first in the entire league against single coverage in terms of yards (405), touchdowns (five), and Pro Football Focus’ grading system (93.4).
