ESPN’s simulation predicts a 7-10 finish, but this Denver Broncos team is much better than any previous version in recent history.

ESPN delivered their annual 2021 NFL season simulation and the news wasn’t good for the Denver Broncos. Despite having an easier schedule this year compared to last season (ESPN simulation predicted 8-8 for Denver in 2020), the simulation as the Broncos faltering throughout the season notching another 10-loss season.

The 7-10 finish is a result of the Broncos completely stumbling out of the gates winning just one of their first five games of the season. Considering those first three games are winnable, that would definitely derail any hopes the team would have to claw their way into the playoffs. The low point would be 3-8 with six games to go and despite the 4-2 finish it is another clean house type of finish for Denver.

Honestly, I like this prediction. Last year was far too optimistic and the team fell well short. Now it feels like the result is far too pessimistic and the team will hopefully exceed. I’m going with the inverted record of 10-7 and a playoff berth. What do you predict?
